THE STORY BEHIND THE —ISH.

A little about attached-ish.

Because dating is complicated enough without having to decode yourself, too.

We've all been there. Overanalyzing a text. Confusing chemistry with compatibility. Wondering why we keep finding ourselves in the same situations with different people.

Sound familiar?

Attached-ish was created to make the psychology behind modern dating a little easier to understand—and a lot more relatable.

Rooted in psychological concepts and written with a healthy dose of humor, Attached-ish explores the patterns, beliefs, and emotional experiences that influence how we connect with others.

Not to tell you who to date, when to leave, or how to find the one.

But to help you better understand yourself along the way.

Same patterns. Different people. Let's unpack that.

The idea behind the pages.

Dating advice is everywhere. But understanding why we do what we do? That's where things get interesting.

Attached-ish goes beyond red flags and relationship rules to explore the psychology of attachment, attraction, confidence, emotional availability, and being chosen.

Through approachable explanations, thought-provoking prompts, and guided reflection exercises, the workbook invites you to get curious about your own experiences.

Because self-awareness isn't about finding everything that's wrong with you.

It's about recognizing what feels familiar, questioning what no longer serves you, and making room for something different.

Meet the creator.

Hi, I'm Parisa.

I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist, the founder of Sunday Wellness, and someone who believes psychology shouldn't be reserved just for the therapy room.

Throughout my work as a therapist, I've seen how our relationships can bring out some of our deepest insecurities, strongest emotions, and most familiar patterns.

And while attachment theory and relationship psychology can sound complicated, the experiences behind them are incredibly human.

I created Attached-ish to bring these conversations into everyday life in a way that feels approachable, insightful, and occasionally a little cheeky.

It's the kind of resource I wanted to create for anyone who's ever wondered:

Why am I like this?

Not because there's necessarily anything wrong—but because understanding ourselves can change how we show up in relationships.

Consider this your invitation to get curious.

A Sunday Wellness experience.

Attached-ish is part of Sunday Wellness, a collection of thoughtfully created resources, guided journals, and experiences centered on self-discovery, connection, and personal growth.

From the pages of a workbook to meaningful conversations in real life, the goal is simple: make space for a little more understanding.

Less judgment. More curiosity.

Attached-ish is an educational and self-reflection resource. It is not therapy, a psychological assessment, or a substitute for individualized mental health care.
